Deposit is 100% refundable up to 9 months prior to your residency. Upon second payment 9 months prior to residency the deposit and other payments are all non-refundable.

Any short notice cancellations can not be postponed, rescheduled, or refunded. DONATIONS and PATREON are nonrefundable. We are unable to refund any VAT / Sales tax already applied to processed payments.

Depending on the timeframe to your residency we will do the best we can to accommodate you.

Please contact us as soon as possible.

If we have ample time to find another artist to schedule, we can reschedule you one time.

In the event of short notice we can only reschedule you if we find another artist to replace you. Otherwise, you will need to reapply.

To receive The Denis Diderot Grant and/or The Emerging Artist Grant, we ask that you join our "Artists Supporting Artists" Patreon account for a minimum of 13 months (€10 / €12 a month). This is a way to become a part of our growing community of artists that help to pay it forward. This initiative creates opportunities for other artists like yourself to attend the residency.

From 2017-2024 we have been able to award attending artists in combined grants and donations €2,540,500!

If you received The Denis Diderot Grant and/or The Emerging Artist Grant, the grants still apply if you need to switch dates.

If you purchase any art supplies from the art store, there is a cost. We have a wine cellar where you can purchase wine every day ranging from €10-€22. We also have a selection of snacks!

Yes, your deposit and any payments made will transfer to your new residency date. Please note there may be a price adjustment.
