Our mission is to select artists who desire to grow and continue their journey of artistic expression. We are looking for artists whose presence will contribute to the overall experience of the other artists attending, and who are also developing skills, exploring ideas and looking for adventure.

About the event
Welcome to your residency at Chateau Orquevaux! Prepare for an enriching experience that fosters creativity and collaboration. Upon your arrival, you will settle into your accommodations and enjoy a warm champagne welcome followed by dinner with fellow residents.
The following day, you'll be given a full chateau tour and studio set up and be able to visit the Residency art store La Store d’Orquevaux before embarking on a visit to a local art and grocery store, with an opportunity to explore the art supplies closet beforehand. Throughout your residency, you are encouraged to immerse yourself in your work while benefiting from collaborations with other artists and opportunities to discuss work with Residency Director Beulah van Rensburg.
Engage in a variety of enriching activities, including life drawing sessions, writer's circles, workshop on the business of art, grant writing, artist statement workshop with Vogue Robinson and optional social activities. Additional events such…
